About Nashville's Landscapers

Nashville's Landscapers is a landscaping company serving Nashville and 64 more towns across 12 counties of Middle Tennessee — and we stake our name on how the work goes.

Most landscape money in this region is wasted twice — once on plants that die in clay, and once on a patio that heaves because nobody looked at where the water goes. A landscaper worth hiring starts with the water and the soil and gets to the pretty part second.

What we do

  • Design before digging. A plan you have seen, with plants that live in Tennessee clay, before the crew arrives.
  • Price the whole job. Hardscape, plants, drainage and haul-off in one written number, not a base price plus surprises.
  • Build for the water. Every patio and wall we build has a drainage answer, because in this soil the one that does not is a rebuild.

What we will not do

  • Plant what the nursery is clearing. A plant that will not survive a Middle Tennessee August is not a bargain at any price.
  • Stack a wall over three feet without engineering. Above that height a retaining wall is a structure, and we treat it as one.
  • Quote from a satellite photo. Grade, soil and access decide the price, and none of them show from above.

What we actually work on

What homeowners near Nashville ask landscaping companies for — design, planting, retaining wall installation, and the upkeep afterwards.

The landscaping problems Middle Tennessee homeowners bring us most often:

  • Yard has no plan to it
  • Beds are overgrown or tired
  • Water pools or runs at the house
  • A slope you cannot use
  • Want an outdoor living space
  • New build with a blank yard
  • Nowhere to sit and entertain outside

Who does the work

Our crews carry liability insurance we hold on file, and any crew building retaining walls or drainage has done it here, in this clay, on jobs we can name.

Beyond the paperwork, the test is how somebody handles the part of a landscaping job that does not go to plan — the honest call when the estimate has to change, and whether you hear about it before the work or after. The landscapers who stay with us are the ones who have passed that test on jobs we know about.

Why we do not publish reviews yet

No before-and-after galleries borrowed from a stock library and no quotes from customers this brand has not had yet; the proof will be built jobs, added as owners agree to show them.

Where we work

Landscape crews serving Nashville also build in Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, across 65 towns and 12 counties. Each of the main cities has its own page — what its houses mean for landscaping, who issues the permits, which neighborhoods are inside the run.

If you want to understand the work before you speak to anyone, our landscaping guide covers what drives the price, what your options are and what a badly done job looks like — written so you can judge any landscaper in the region, including us.

Who we are

Nashville's Landscapers is Michael Blair’s company: he owns it, runs it and is accountable for what it publishes. What you read here comes from the trade’s own practice, Tennessee code and manufacturer documentation for the block, pavers and drainage products we install, and it is rewritten when those sources change. Posts are signed by him and dated. Every crew is insured and licensed, works to the commitments set down on this page, and each landscape they build has Nashville's Landscapers behind it.

For any landscaper, ours too: where the size of the job calls for a Tennessee contractor’s license, look it up at verify.tn.gov; get the certificate of insurance in hand before anyone digs; and find your town’s permit office, which matters for walls and grading, on its city page.
